ACTIVE ENGLISH + INNOVATION (inicio de los cursos el 18 de abril)
Uno de los principales problemas del aprendizaje de una lengua es su descontextualización en el aula en interminables cursos repasando cada detalle de la lengua. Por eso,sin dejar de lado los clásicos curso cursos de Cambridge, hemos desarrollado un programa de inmersión completo para aprender inglés mientras aprendemos otras muchas cosas y hacemos lo que nos gusta y motiva, como ver películas y series, escuchar canciones, aprender a filmar una película, ensayar Macbeth o aprender a desarrollar nuestro proyecto sin dejar de mejorar nuestro conocimiento de las estructuras correspondientes a cada nivel. Cursos de 2 horas semanales.
Professional English = General English + Business English
This is the General English course combined with Business which will help to set up your future. English is the most important language in the world of business and as such is crucial to add to your list of abilities. This course will also explore the language that is used in business too, also exploring concepts such as rapport, trust and influence. Another important aspect of getting on in the business world is having a level of cultural sensitivity and formality too, this course will help you develop a formal style with an understanding of the customs in different cultures, especially the UK and US.

English and the Cinema
This course will help expand your knowledge of film theory whilst practising and developing your English. The course will take you on a journey through film, learning some of the most important techniques used in filmmaking. We will explore some of the great films as well as some of the different film movements that have helped to shape this powerful industry. By the time you have finished the course you will look at film through new eyes and learn some techniques for your own filmmaking.

Film club
The film club is a great way to learn about the different genres in film. The procedure is simple, each week will have a theme such as romantic comedy or drama, we will watch a film of that type at home and then discuss it in class. We can work on specific language points as they come up during the class. The main genres are: classic Hollywood, comedy, documentary, drama, musical, independent, romantic comedy, horror, classic independent, animation and fantasy.

Series Club
Watching TV series are another amazing way to learn the language of English. In this course we will watch an episode of a series each week and discuss certain aspects such as plot, character development and the filming of it. The first series will likely be Homeland or House of cards. We will look at important scenes in the episode and explore any language that arises.
Jueves
Music Club
With the music club we will listen to an album in a particular genre and then meet up once a week to discuss the overall impression that album had on us. Some of the songs will be picked out in order to focus deeply on the lyrics, exploring the possible interpretations that we may have of that song. The genres will include, classic rock, rock, pop, classical, hip hop, electronic, punk, folk, jazz, reggae and soul.

Macbeth
This is a course that will help you on your way to mastery of English by learning from one of the great masters of this language, Shakespeare. The course will also help to build up your confidence with English in a fun and interactive way. Some of the course will also help you with your improvisation skills which will come in not only in the field of acting but in everyday life too. Macbeth is one of the classic tragedies of Shakespeare and has recently been made into a Hollywood film starring Michael Fassbender.
How to teach sciences in English
This is a course that will broaden your knowledge of science whilst also progressing your level on English. Being the primary language of the sciences, English is crucial for those who wish to pursue a career in any of the many fields. Whether you want to be a biologist, psychologist, engineer or astronaut, learning science in the language of English will help you on your journey to success.
Public speaking
‘Soft skills’ are not often taught in schools, these are skills such as public speaking, interview skills and rapport (the ability to create trust in others). By taking this course you will have a lot of enjoyment in the challenge of writing speeches and talks. You will learn more about the structure of a great talk too. A fun and practical course that will have you ‘hands on’ from the start to the end.
Entrepreneurship
This is a course that will help you to develop your overall skills in English. It also incorporates a number of business and entrepreneurship skills, including tasks such as creating a business plan and developing a website. The course will take you through the steps of developing your idea, and then executing your strategy. Perfect for anyone who has the entrepreneurial spirit or who wants to set up their own business.
English for the Media
This course will take you through all of the key media, such as newspapers, TV, radio as well as social media. The course will go through 8 modules that can take you through real life media activities such as preparing a pitch, writing headlines or making an advertisement. It will use a number of authentic materials and will help you to expand your knowledge of both Media and the language of English.
